How to download and get started with the Defence Bank app.
- Open the App Store or Google Play.
- Search for 'Defence Bank'.
- Tap the download button.
- When the download has finished, open the app.
- Tap 'Login and Start Banking'.
- Enter your member number and Online Banking password.
- Choose your four-digit PIN.
- Tap the arrow button and you should receive an SMS with a six-digit code.
- Enter the code and select 'Register'.
How to open the Defence Bank app.
- Find the Defence Bank logo icon on your device.
- Tap the icon and tap it to open the app.
How to login to the Defence Bank app.
- Open the Defence Bank app.
- Tap 'You are not logged in'.
- Enter your four-digit PIN - if the correct PIN is entered you will be logged in automatically.
How to view a transaction through the Defence Bank app.
- Log in to the Defence Bank app and select 'Accounts'.
- Tap the relevant account.
- Scroll through the list of transactions until you find the specific transaction.
- Tap the transaction.
- Transaction details will be displayed, scroll down to view more.
- Exit the transaction details view by swiping down from the small white bar at the top of the screen.
How to pay someone through the Defence Bank app using BSB and account number.
- Log in to the Defence Bank app and select 'Pay'.
- Tap 'Pay Someone'.
- Tap the plus symbol (+).
- Select 'Account'.
- Enter the account details and tap the arrow button.
- Enter the funds amount and tap the arrow button.
- Enter an optional description and tap the arrow button.
- Select the account where the funds are coming from and tap the arrow button.
- Enter an optional reference and tap the arrow button.
- Tap 'Pay now' and a receipt will be displayed.
How to transfer money between your accounts with the Defence Bank app.
- Log in to the Defence Bank app and select 'Pay'.
- Tap 'Transfer'.
- Tap 'Select account to transfer from'.
- Choose an account.
- Tap 'Select account to transfer to'.
- Choose an account.
- Tap the arrow button.
- Enter the funds amount and tap the arrow button.
- Enter an optional description and tap the arrow button.
- Tap 'Transfer now' and a receipt will be displayed.
