Do you need to update your Defence Bank BSB?

It is important that you use the right BSB when you are instructing organisations to credit or debit your account at Defence Bank.

The correct BSB that should be used is 833-205.

It is important as, along with your account number it ensures that you continue to keep receiving and debiting money to and from your Defence Bank account in a timely manner.

What transactions will this affect?

Any direct deposits (credits) including your pay, share dividends, superannuation, pensions Centrelink payments and any other direct credits into your Defence Bank account.

Any direct payments (debits) including bills such as insurance, electricity, water rates council rates or any other situation where you give a third party authority to debit your Defence Bank account.
