Defence Bank has today expanded access to fee-free cash for its members Australia wide through a partnership with Armaguard and its network of more than 1,700 atmx by Armaguard ATMs in metropolitan and regional areas.
Under the agreement, Defence Bank members can withdraw cash fee-free and make balance enquiries for free via their Visa cards.
The partnership will instantly lower fees and charges for Defence Bank members, providing welcome hip pocket relief.
The deal also acknowledges that many Australians including Defence Bank members still enjoy the access, convenience and choice that cash provides in their busy lives on the go.
Defence Bank Acting Chief Executive Marnie Fletcher said the partnership is a win for members including members of the Australian Defence Forces and their families.
“We’re delighted to remove fees and charges for our members,” Fletcher said.
“We want our members to be able to withdraw their cash and check their bank balances free of charge.”
