Australia's Defence Bank is committed to supporting this year's International Women’s Day message of #BreakTheBias. In a video featuring Defence Bank Chair of the Board Fran Raymond, Defence Bank staff strike the #BreakTheBias pose in recognition of the importance of a gender-equal world.
"By breaking the bias, we aim to help future generations of women have better lives, both professionally and personally. At Australia's Defence Bank, we strive every day to improve and better our organisation to be a safer, more respectful, and flexible organisation. Where people can come and work, while bringing their true authentic self,” said Fran Raymond.
"Currently, more than 50 per cent of Defence Bank board members are female, (including our chair of risk and compliance, and chair of the audit committee). And four out of seven of our executive team leaders are female."
