Here’s how it works:

Step 1. Receive the funds for a Defence Bank personal loan between 2 September 2024 and 29 November 2024.

Step 2. Ensure you receive at least $1,000 or more of your salary payments into your Everyday Access Account within 60 days of your loan funding. You can set this up with your payroll Officer.

Step 3. Keep receiving salary payments of $1,000 or more each month into your Everyday Access Account to earn a $120 bonus*.

We’ll pay you $120 into your new Everyday Access Account in the following month of receiving your eligible salary payments.

The ‘Personal Loan PAYback! $120 cash bonus offer’ is conducted by Defence Bank Limited ABN 57 087 651 385 AFSL/Australian Credit Licence 234582 of Level 10, 31 Queen Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 (Promoter). The promotion is available from 17/10/2024 to 29/11/2024 (promotion period).

Eligibility criteria.
Cash bonus activation eligibility criteria.

To receive the $120 cash bonus, the member must:

- settle a new Defence Bank personal loan during the promotion period.
- Receive a minimum of two payments of $500 or more from a payroll service, paid into their Everyday Access account within 60 days of their personal loan settling.

If the eligibility criteria is not met within 60 days of their loan settling, they will not be eligible for the cash bonus offer.

Defence Bank directors or staff members of the Promoter, or a member of their immediate family are not eligible for this promotion.

Cash bonus details.
The cash bonus is a one-off payment of $120 into the members Everyday Access Account.

Payment of cash bonus.
If the member meets the eligibility criteria, the $120 will be paid into their Everyday Access account during the next calendar month following the month the member met eligibility.

If the Personal Loan is held in joint names, the cash bonus will only be awarded once and paid into the Everday Access Account that receives the eligible payment(s). Only one cash bonus will be paid even if both joint loan holders meet the eligiblity requriements.

The member will only be eligible to receive one cash bonus payment even if they have multiple personal loans settled during the promotion period.

If the member has an account or loan that is in arrears or overdrawn at the time of payment their cash bonus will be forfeited.

Resolving disputes.
Complaints regarding the Promotion may be submitted by:

a. Calling 1800 033 139
b. Visiting a Defence Bank branch
c. Writing to us at ‘The Complaints Officer, Defence Bank, PO Box 14537, Melbourne VIC 8001.

If there is a dispute concerning the complaint, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding, and no further correspondence will be entered into.

General.
Any entry not complying with these Terms and Conditions is invalid. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s reasonable discretion.

Defence Bank reserves the right to extend or withdraw this offer at any time. If withdrawn, Defence Bank will honour the eligible members who have already qualified for the cash bonus offer.
